Gods Only Mistake

Oh!  The omnipotent Father of all
God given beauty the gift to stand tall
The passion to love the reason to care
For humans on earth whatever their prayer

Creating the land the water the air
Each fashioned by God with heavenly care
Then followed man to inhabit the land
To nobly set forth under Gods command

What mortal originates first on earth
Man or woman by occasion of birth
With man first annointed to dominate
He had only himself to calibrate

Examine history in terms of war
The man with the grandest club sure to score
From a stone age tool to holocaust time
Man was skillful in decrying his crime

Gods only mistake was to make man first
Still accords the devil to soothe the worst
Given love and passion yet prone to kill
Man throughout all ages rendered such ill

Give earth woman to be created first
Pleased to succor mans adventurous thirst
More love more compassion few frays and strife
History glistens in such stellar life

Without a woman there would be no man
Although first on earth he treasures her hand
With ecstatic joy she refines his place
No war no blood no tears just life with grace
