Instant pleasure or later pain
A price too high for moment's gain
As in the future you may see
Such joy in hand spells misery
Be not fooled by pleasures promise
Such good fun enjoyed in harness
Know well the caveat to bear
For pleasant pleasures without care
The course you chart for happiness
Is fraught with promise and with bliss
Fight temptation and you will be
A happy Lad or Lassie free
