Princess Diana

She woke to touch the flowers by her side
Reflecting earthly deeds and 'Mummy' pride
Her torch of hope ignites the flame of life
A legacy evolved by shadow's strife

Wide wondrous world warped with people in pain
Comforted with grace in her rightful reign
Drawn deepest hurt endured by placid peace
Veined by love solemnizing lifes' release

Need's boundless thirst enlists the bearing hand
Imbued with care tendered across the strand
Charities seeded with passionate soul
Stir sterling goodness hallowed in time's troll

Every enlightened vow transcends a plight
Yielding a wave of benevolent might
Proudly shrouded she dwells in heaven's path
Free from frazzle of tabloid wrath

What drives this whirl of angry flagrant dust
Thwarting great promise truth concern and trust
At call find those who give their cherished best
With heart and soul and love to meet God's test
